Over on the right at www. townhall.com there is an interesting article by columnists Dick Morris and Eileen McGann; The Massacre of '08. It's great to see the rebublican pundits starting to see that not only will they lose the White House but that they are facing large losses in the Senate - a GOP massacre of up to a 12 Senate seat gain by the Democrats.
Of course they blame "party identification" for the GOP's anticipated losses and that pesky Iraq War, gas prices and the "looming recession" (I'm not sure it is so much looming as is in place), for all the GOP Problems.
The best part of the article is the clarion call for Bush to get out and tell Americans that things are "bad but not that bad" If only Bush would hit the trail and get his approval rating up to mid of high 30's then all will be well again.
It's not a good year to be a Rebublican concludes Morris and McGann.
